Directed by Gary Ross and also starring Rihanna, Mindy Kaling and Anne Hathaway, "Ocean's 8" is expected to start filming in New York City next month, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Emmy winner Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter and rapper Awkwafina round out the caper flick's crew. Steven Soderbergh, who directed the "Ocean's Eleven" trilogy is back as a producer.

Matt Damon ‘can’t wait’ for all-female ‘Ocean’s Eight’

The cast now has enough star-power wattage to rival the last three films, which were headlined by George Clooney, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt.

Rumors are swirling that at least one of those male actors would make a cameo in "Ocean's 8."

The film is part of a recent Hollywood trend to gender-swap the leads of a past hit — though the Kristen Wiig/Melissa McCarthy-led "Ghostbusters" disappointed at the box office.
