Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones exposes racist trolls

ONE of the stars of the Ghostbusters reboot, Leslie Jones, has dramatically exposed many of the Twitter trolls who have been directing vile racism at her since the movie hit cinemas.

Along with Jones, the all-female cast including Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and Kate McKinnon, have been major targets for online trolls since the film was announced, but the hate has intensified since it was released.

Jones initially opted to simply block the comments, but she says now she’s had enough.

“You know I’m gonna stop blocking so y’all can go through my feed yourself and see the BS,” she tweeted. “You won’t believe the evil. It’s f**king scary.”

Jones then launched a retweeting spree, sharing the worst of the racist comments she’s been dealing with.

She expressed her distress at times throughout the onslaught, saying she’s “scared for our future.”

Several celebrities jumped to the actress’ defence, including Ghostbusters director Paul Feig.

“Leslie Jones is one of the greatest people I know,” he wrote.

“Any personal attacks against her are attacks against us all.”

This isn’t the first time Jones has taken to Twitter to expose discrimination.

Just last month, she revealed no designers would dress her for the red carpet premiere of Ghostbusters.
