Friday's TV Highlights: 'Hawaii Five-0' on CBS

MacGyver MacGyver (Lucas Till) is the target of an international hit man (David Dastmalchian) and must defend himself and Bozer (Justin Hires) using only a corkscrew and a roll of paper towels. 8 p.m. CBS

The Vampire Diaries Damon (Ian Somerhalder) heads for Texas where he has a violent run-in with Peter Maxwell (Joel Gretsch). 8 p.m. KTLA

Last Man Standing With her wedding getting nearer, Mandy (Molly Ephraim) becomes a bit of a “bridezilla,” so Ed (Hector Elizondo) gets fed up with her behavior and decides to skip the event, even though he was going to be the best man for Kyle (Christoph Sanders). Bill Engvall guest stars as a clergyman. Tim Allen and Nancy Travis also star. 8 p.m. ABC

Hell's Kitchen The chefs prepare their own interpretations of a Southern staple. The dinner service guests include Clippers star J.J. Redick, “American Idol” alum Blake Lewis, Mircea Monroe and Adrienne Maloof (“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”). 8 p.m. Fox

Dr. Ken Dave (Albert Tsai) has a product to pitch on “Shark Tank” but Ken (Ken Jeong)  worries his son will get harsh critiques from “Sharks” Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Kevin O’Leary (all guest-starring as themselves). Krista Marie Yu and Dave Foley also star. 8:30 p.m. ABC

Hawaii Five-0 Danny (Scott Caan) accompanies Grace (Teilor Grubbs) to her winter formal, which is crashed by terrorists seeking a diplomat’s son they want to abduct. Chi McBride also stars and Duane “Dog” Chapman returns as a guest star, playing himself. 9 p.m. CBS

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Heather (Vella Lovell) helps Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) with a makeover. Donna Lynne Champlin, Vincent Rodriguez III, Santino Fontana, Pete Gardner and Gabrielle Ruiz also star. 9 p.m. KTLA

The Exorcist Casey’s (Hannah Kasulka) vanishing frays the emotions of the family, and Father Tomas (Alfonso Herrera) has problems dealing with the publicity from her possession. Ben Daniels, Geena Davis, Alan Ruck and Brianne Howey also star and Deanna Dunagan guest stars. 9 p.m. Fox

Great Performances: Gypsy The classic Jule Styne-Stephen Sondheim musical stars Imelda Staunton as the ultimate stage mother in this new episode recorded during the show’s Olivier Award-honored 2014-15 run in England. Lara Pulver and Peter Davison also star. 9 p.m. KOCE

Austin City Limits Natalia Lafourcade performs songs from Grammy Award-winning album “Hasta la Ruiz.” Latin funk orchestra Grupo Fantasma also performs. 9 p.m. KLCS

Z Nation  Warren (Kellita Smith) realizes that she’ll have to venture to the dark side to stop Murphy (Keith Allan) from creating his Blend Army. D.J. Qualls and Russell Hodgkinson also star. 9 p.m. Syfy

Blue Bloods An assault victim (Danielle Savre, returning to her guest role) is suspected of murdering her abusive ex after voicing concerns that he also would harm his latest love. 10 p.m. CBS

20/20: Donald Trump: The Making of a President Tom Llamas, who spent over 500 days on the campaign trail covering Trump, profiles the president-elect.  The report includes interviews with Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway; Lara Trump, Eric Trump’s wife; Omarosa Manigault; Lynne Patton; and Richard LeFrak, Trump’s friend for more than 50 years. 10 p.m. ABC

Van Helsing With most of the survivors trapped inside an underground lab for military experiments, Vanessa (Kelly Overton) discovers that Axel (Jonathan Scarfe) has been hiding a secret about her past. Meanwhile, outside, Mohamad (Trezzo Mahoro) befriends a girl who doesn’t fear vampires, and Rebecca (Laura Mennell) makes a calculated play against the Renaissance leadership. 10 p.m. Syfy

Tracey Ullman's Show Among the sketches in this new episode two naive American tourists find their fairy-tale view of London tested, and a member of Parliament goes topless for her first meeting with constituents. Also Judi Dench (Ullman) breaks into a movie theater. 11 p.m. HBO

The Warfighters Executive producer Peter Berg (“Friday Night Lights”) and veteran Special Forces Green Beret Bert Kuntz co-host this eight-part marathon Veterans Day special event airing consecutively in its entirety.
